Hey there readers,
I have found something new and interesting to tell you about. Recently Apple released a new iPod, the new iPod Shuffle. It is quite the invention. The new iPod is about the size of a key, but yet can hold up to 1000 songs. (apple.com)
One new additive is a voice over co ntrol. This new application can be easily accessed with the push of a button. As you press the center button a voice appears and the music fades out. So whether you want to know what the title of a song is, or what playlist is playing, the VoiceOver command can help.
Speaking on the lines of playlists, this new iPod Shuffle has built in technology which allows multiple play lists to be added, unlike the previous Shuffle which only allowed some 200 songs. Most convenient of all is the location of the controls. Some controls are placed on the ear-bud cord. This comes in handy when you are riding a bike or running. It allows the user to stay on pace without having to fumble with the iPod to change the song.
And I don't know about any of you, but I hate losing a step or two when I am jogging because I can't find the button to change songs. I have an armband and I always seem to stumble when I try to change songs. Yes the arm band is nice for holding my iPod, but at times it seems to get in my way with its bulk. One advantage the new Shuffle has is its sleek and small design. As mentioned earlier it is the size of a key. This makes the Shuffle nice for all you out there who like to work out. It also comes with a customizable clip, which attaches to nearly any piece of clothing or backpack.
Overall I find that this iPod is the new techno gadget for all those exercise addicts out there. It is small and stylish, but at the same time has enough memory to hold a thousand songs. The Shuffle frees up your body of those bulky carriers and allows for songs to be changed with ease. Now who wouldn't want something like that when they are out for a jaunt?
